This is probably a silly question, but since we're almost eloping (my parents know the date, FIs do not nor does anyone else) I've been wondering about getting a gift for my folks (his too if I do for mine, of course). I know it's not necessary but I was thinking something like a photo book of the wedding, or one of the photos done in a nice frame (or both). Is that appropriate since they won't be there for the actual event?
