*Girly Night! Party of 1!*

 Pulling out all the stops for my own *me* night! H is playing some video game demo thing that came out, so I suggested he take over the LR, and I get the BR, to have our own nights! When I got off from work, I ran out, got a salad kit, one of my fav Keurig K-Cup brands, wine, and lo mein noodle cup from the place around the corner. I surprised H with a variety box of mini chocolate bars, beef jerky, and root beer. (Lol-Random, but all things he loves). I have my chick flicks lined up, and I plan on throwing my own luxurious spa night in our *amazing* en suite. It's happening! I'm on movie #2, and my second glass of wine, knotting it up! I seriously don't know why I don't do this more often..! It's cheap, I can wear lazy clothes, & don't need to find a ride home, post wine! Not to mention, the spas a couple hundred bucks. This is so my new thing! :)

    Sounds like fun.

    DH has 3 functions going on tonight.  One is a stag night to kick off the men's golf tournament.  Totally stag, not even female employees are allowed.

    Because all the men folk are at the Stag party the women have a party of their own at another of the club's outlets.

    Then he also has the dinning room open and some rich family to cook for in their home.     

    I decide to hang out and drink beer, watch the storm and figure out what to make for dinner.  Right now Bryer's ice cream with mini-M&M's is at the top of the list.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Girl, that sounds like my every Friday night! FI works every Saturday at 6am so he goes to bed early and I stay up late in the living room doing all of those items :) You definitely need to institute it more often!

    H started watching One Piece on Crunchyroll as soon as he got home, so when he was all, "did you want to watch anything" I was all naw. I'm just gonna sketch and knot.

    I'll be having solo girl nights this weekend.  H has to work on Sunday and possibly Monday as well (we both have Sunday/Monday as our weekend).  I'm looking forward to catching up on The Bachelorette!  It's my guilty pleasure show.  I think I have two episodes to get caught up on, and next week is the finale... I think.  I don't dare google it because I don't want spoilers!

    Sounds like a good time! SO and I don't live together yet so most nights tend to be solo girl nights for me. Tonight I'm watching Lindsey Lohan movies. I finished Mean Girls and now I'm watching The Parent Trap. I think SO and I are going to need night where we take over separate rooms when we move in together! I need my chick-flicks!

     Everyone sounds like they know what's up! :) It was an awesome night, and I'm definitely doing these more often! I slept *amazing* last night too. I don't know why, but I've had the worst time trying to fall asleep this week, otherwise. 
     
    @lovesclimbing - I *love* The Bachelor/Bachelorette! Definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! I'm also one of those people that won't look at the spoilers! :)

    @jenna8984 - I don't know why I don't do them more. I mean, life is usually pretty crazy, but I tend to get 1-2 evenings a week, where I could totally pull it off. It was sooo relaxing, and I slept awesome last night. :)

    @bethsmiles - I did a Katherine Heigl kinda night! 3/4 movies had her as the leading role. She has some good chick flicks, for sure! :) 

     Anywhos, off to work!
