What information should you put on the save the dates? I feel like if I put to much information the formal invitation will be too repetitive. I was thinking the date and our wedding website. Is that not enough though?

    We put the date and town and of course our names.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Must Have: Your names, the date, and the location (doesn't have to be the venue, just the city/town)

    Anything else is pretty optional. Putting your website on there that has more details is totally fine (especially if your website has links to hotel blocks).

    Who, what (expect an invitation), when (date).  Destination weddings might also include general location.

    Your names, the wedding date, the wedding city.

    I would include your website if you have one for hotel room blocks and such. We also included a note about our engagement because we didn't do engagement announcements. Plus it was in post card format and we got engaged while on vacation so it kind of made sense.

    Ours had our names, the date, and location.  We included room block info because the block ends 2 weeks after guests will receive invites and we had people asking.
