Hi! I'm recently engaged and am going CRAZY trying to figure out a venue. My fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves and really have a limited budget. I'm not sure what kind of help we'll be able to get from our parents but we have about 10k of our own for everything. We're looking at about 100-120 people. The first place I seriously looked at was all inclusive (big mistake because now i compare everything to it) and was almost double our budget once we tack on photos, dress, dj, ect.
