I think I just saw the worst wide release movie ever!

Winter's Tale and not the dolphin one. The Colin Farrell one. I watch a ton of movies. I usually see 2-3 per weekend in theaters and I watch probably 1 every night before bed. Both for work and because it's my past time. Wide release movies, meaning movies that are in theaters, are usually not ever terrible compared to the movies that go straight to DVD. But this Winter's Tale movie, wow. There were horses that were dogs but also Pegasus. Russel Crowe was a Leprechaun, Wil Smith is Lucifer. This isn't a cartoon by the way. There is some type of time travel but only for some but not others. There were times when I laughed out loud and spit food. Seriously, has anyone seen this?

I didn't think it was that bad at all.

  • It was on the last flight I took and I didn't have earphones, but could see the screen. I didn't need to hear the dialogue to know it was a hot (or maybe cold) mess. I could not imagine what kind of plot could have been envisioned, so I Wiki'd it when I got home. Yeah, it still didn't make sense.

  • I looked it up and it got such bad reviews. It was deemed one of the most confusing movies in history which yep, about right. I'm not sure if it was the editor, director, screenplay writer but it was dreadful. The acting wasn't bad. Except for Russel Crowe, but no one expects much out of him anymore.

Thanks for the review, I'll stay away from that one.

I saw Lucy last week and while it wasn't the worst movie I've seen it was definitely a dud.  It did not meet expectations set by the trailer.

  • Scarjo has an issue with doing bad movies. I love that woman but apparently her manager and agent hate her.

  • I didn't think the movie was that bad but I read the book first. I think the worst movie ever was The Fountain. It made me sad it was so bad. I really wanted to love it because Hugh Jackman was in it.
  • OMG @jdluvr06 that movie was SOOO bad. You are right. I was so lost during that movie. I also wanted to like it because it was Hugh and Rachel, love them both.

But the worst movie of all time is Clifford with Martin Short. That's an inside joke between myself and my husband. Well it isn't that "inside" because it is a terrible movie. But anytime anyone says a movie was the worst movie ever we look at one another and say "Not as bad as Clifford with Martin Short".
