Golden Nugget Wedding Chapel

Hello girls (and guys)

After A LOT of research I've narrowed down to the wedding chapel at the golden nugget. Originally I wanted an outdoor garden wedding - but I just love the look of the chapel at the golden nugget and it has huge windows so there is natural light.

Has anybody been married there or seen it on a scouting trip. Keen on any reviews/opinions before we lock it in.

<div>I haven't seen the wedding chapel but we did spend some time hanging out at the hotel when we were there back in October, and I have to say they did an AMAZING job with the renovation. The hotel is really cool. We decided that next time we go back to Vegas we are going to stay there. I can imagine that the chapel looks amazing too.</div><div>

  • I love GN but unfortunately haven't been in the chapel to check it out.  I meant to do so last time I was there but never had time.  If you do stay there, I very strongly recommend the Rush Tower, their old towers are really old, Rush is all new and great.

Married in Vegas - June 2011

  • We love the Golden Nugget and always stay there when we go to Vegas. We are even staying there for our honeymoon week in the Rush Towers which are so nice! Before booking the chapel at Mandalay, I did check out their wedding chapel and I wasn't a fan. It's really, really small, looks outdated and has that funeral look to it with those sheer coffin looking curtains on all the windows. The reception rooms are nice though, but I was disappointed the chapel didn't have the same elegant look as the rest of the hotel did.
  • Thanks for all of the feedback guys. I liked the golden nugget when I visited Vegas too.

I know what you mean fablove about the 'small' size of the chapel however we will only have about 20-30 guests so that is ideal. I have seen some pictures of the chapel with the white drapes removed (so you can see the pool etc) and it does remove that funerally feel. I just love that it has natural light unlike some of the other chapels. And Im too scared to go outdoors out of fear of inclement weather ( I would spend the next 12 months stressing about the possibility of rain).

Im still looking around but will definitely take that feedback on board. Thanks

We are having a small guest count as well, and I couldn't see my 15 guests sitting in there without looking like a can of smashed sardines! The chapel goes sideways long but isn't wide. The aisle is short, small and not very wide, and all the chairs are really close together in this small long space. I can't see 20-30 fitting in there well.
