DJ recommendations for out of town bride

Hi all! I'm planning from afar and would love some DJ recommendations! My fiancé and I are hoping to play a blend of country, top 40, and pop all throughout the day and would need ceremony, cocktail, and reception music (no classical, traditional stuff). $1500 would be our max budget amount. Any suggestions?

I'm also planning long-distance -- definitely an experience!  We recently signed with DJD PGH.  His website includes details and DJing samples: https://djdpgh.squarespace.com

Good to hear that there's other out of town planners! How did you end up choosing him?

Mostly from sifting through his website and some online reviews (http://www.theknot.com/Vendors/DJD+PGH/Profile/DJS/117/602423/profile#reviews) and from having a phone call with DJD (his actual name is Matt).  I can't speak for how things will turn out on the wedding day, but I have been impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism thus far.

He seems to have a pretty open mind with music (and I think does mash-ups of songs if you want), which is important to my fiancé and I because we have quirky tastes and love to dance!  His prices were reasonable ($1200 is the base rate, then there are $50-100ish add-ons if you want extra time, uplighting, etc).  I think he may be newer to the wedding DJ scene than some of the other DJs we researched (some were $2000 or up!).

Matt is my DJ (getting married in two weeks) and a close family friend.  He's been DJing for about 5 years at this point.  Matt also was the DJ for my sister's wedding, two years ago.  He did a great job!  You won't be disappointed.
