I need some advice on color coordinating...

This is not a first wedding for either my fiance nor myself. Neither of us are traditional. Neither of us want a big poufy white dress...or white at all. We had discussed another neutral color, but neutral dresses just aren't working out for us. I am loving a very light purple color as our colors are lavender, blue and turquoise.

Do you think I can pull of my necklace (the first piece of jewelry Adam got me)...

My engagement ring...

And blue diamond earrings

with this dress

in this color...

I just can't picture it.

I think it'll look good.

Although, have you bought the dress yet? I would suggest a darker shade of purple. I think that would really add some contrast to the blue. Then your color scheme could be that shade of purple (think plum) a sky blue, and turquoise. That would look really pretty!

No...won't be buying until next summer. I love the light color because it's "bride-ish" enough without being too traditional.

Ah, a friend told me that www.alfredangelo.com has a app that you can change colors on multicolored dressed. I was playing around. I think it'll work out fine. I just needed to be able to envision it. Thanks for your help!

YES! I think the contrast with the light lavender and the dark teal-ish blue is great! What about earrings? Something small, silver and clear sparkle?
