I just sent invitations out on Thursday. Six guests have already called me or emailed to tell me whether they are coming. I am very excited!

On the other hand, I wish they would mail their cards back. I spent a lot of money on stamps, people!

    I know, right?  We lost a few stamps that way :(

    Dude, I got so annoyed with the calls/emails. I put an addressed, stamped envelope in the invite. USE IT.

    I'm the opposite over here...I actually told my parents and bridesmaids that I obviously know they are coming so they don't need to bother sending it back and they all sent it back hahaha. Oh well, guess they want me to get my 48 cents worth! 
    One was so cute, FI's aunt underlined "with pleasure" and wrote in "thank you" next to it. That made my day.

    Yay RSVPs! It was so exciting to start getting those back!

    I started telling people if they didn't mail their card back with an entree selection, they were getting plain noodles for dinner.

    We're having a buffet, so I can't threaten them with that. But I can threaten to not rent a chair for them!

    We were also $100 in stamps... we did RSVP postcards but the post office insisted the size was wrong so we had to put normal stamps on them.  We just put ours in the mail Saturday so fingers crossed people actually send them back, seeing as how it cost 2x what we planned!  lol.
