Got 11 new RSVP cards today. One of them was my grandparents, to tell me they can't come. It's not entirely unexpected but it still makes me sad.

    Aww. *hugs* It's sad when someone we really want to be there can't make it. I have a few relatives who can't come for health reasons either even though it would've meant so much to me for them to be there. But even still, it sucks. So... more *hugs*

    Awwwww. Yeah, I hated that some of my friends couldn't make it, and it was such a bummer to see the declines line checked. Booh.

    I'm a cold-hearted bizz-natch, so I hope some people decline.  

    But if my grandpa was alive, I would be really sadface if he declined.

    I'm sorry :(

    I'm expecting my grampa to decline. He's 94 and doesn't want to stay at a hotel alone but can't handle the stairs at my parent's place anymore. Plus, he'll need a friend to travel with him and my parents don't have space for anyone else. I'll be disappointed if he can't make it but I know that it will make the weekend much easier for my parents.

    Aww, that stinks. I remember we had more declines than accepts about halfway through the RSVP time, and while not unexpected, still sucked.

    Sorry about this! My GPs will probably not be able to make it as well as they are old and can't go across the island for my wedding, although it's only an hour car ride lol. But at least you'll know they'll be more comfortable that way :) On a happier note, you have a lot of RSVPs Yes now haven't you?!

    That's true! Only 4 out of 37 responders have declined.
