Have any of you read the books by Diana Gabaldon? The first episode is up on YouTube before it starts on Starz this week.


I've kind of been an addict, especially of her first book. I wasn't so much of a fan of the later books, but the first one always got me.

    I haven't, but I've heard OMG things about the show. If I can find a way to watch for free on my computer, using totally legal methods, I am entirely in.

    I loved your post because I am SO excited that you shared that link!!!! I don't have Starz and I was super bummed about not getting to see the show.

    I've read and enjoyed most of the books in the Outlander series. What don't you like about the later books?

    I've never read the books but had heard that they're good. I think bought the first one super cheap forever ago from B&N... will have to search for it.

    @LaPeanut1018, I just had a hard time getting into the 2nd one for whatever reason. I'm not sure why. I just struggled with it.

    I've enjoyed all her outlander books, The Lord John ones not so much. It totally amazed me that Outlander was the first book she had written. Hope the series comes out on Bluray before too long (I don't have cable....)

    I have the first book but I haven't finished it yet. My dad had all of the books and enjoyed them, so I've been meaning to read it. Now I'll have to find a way to watch the show and read the books!
