STD design opinions?

So I'm designing all my invitations and everything myself. As we're getting finalizing the date on Monday, I figured I'd get a start on designing the STD magnets.

Also, I got bored last night and this is the kind of shit I do when I'm bored. Obviously subject to change design-wise and potentially date-wise if we have to. Won't be going out until November or December. (There's about 1/4" empty space around all sides for bleed)

What do you guys think?

Both beautiful, but the dark blue calls to me.

Wow. Both are excellent, but the white font and flourishes really shine against the dark blue. Very elegant.

I vote for the blue.

I was thinking the same thing, the script font is significantly more legible in white on a dark background. Might have to do a little tweaking on it when I see it printed to make sure it's 100%, but I'm leaning towards that one.

@CMGragain is the wording right? I've seen lots of your advice posts on the wording and I want to make sure I'm on the clear with this. At least if I end up changing the design, I want the wording to be spot on.

I like the blue one too. The font for the Formal Invitation to follow was a little hard for me to read. I think it was all the swirls at on the first F that made me have to look at it for a couple seconds to get what it said. Great job!

@ctr24 the fonts are Maratre (click) and Justus (click)

Both are really elegant, but I think it depends on the time of day for your wedding. I think the darker one is for a more elegant evening wedding and the white would be better for afternoon.

STDs are very informal. Not a lot of rules. As long as you have "formal invitation to follow, your names and the date, it's fine! My daughter used postcards with Japanese anime art on them.
