Best stops-which order for Strip Tour

Hi All-  We've decided to hire a party bus/photographer to take us on a strip tour.  Seems like there are pretty standard stops, Bellagio, the Vegas sign,  Mirage, Fremont Street.  My question is if you have taken a strip tour, where is best to start?  At the sign?  At Fremont St.?  Any suggestions?  Is 2 hours enough or should I plan for 3?   Thanks!

Re: Best stops-which order for Strip Tour

  • Hi there! Are you working with a photographer for the strip tour? I asked Todd from Bently & Wilson how long he would recommend for the stops we wanted. We are doing the Bellagio, Vegas sign, hangover carpark, Mirage and Venetian. Todd recommended 3 hours for all of those! I definitely think its worth asking your photographer! :)
  • If you're going to do your tour at a busy time of day from Thursday through Saturday, you may be surprised at how long it takes to get from place to place.  If you have a lot of people on the bus, it will take even more time with the loading and unloading.  Even with three hours, you may only be able to get Vegas sign, Fremont and one other place fit in, and that could still be tight.  If you're doing it on a less busy day or time of day, it will be a little easier, but getting a bunch of people off a bus, posed, photos taken and loaded back up, takes longer than you'd think.  Traffic just adds to it.

  • Haha date twin @KrisLSmiley‌ great minds think alike! We've rented the ddb! We're mainly using it though as a means of transport between aria and Orleans. Well probably just stop at vegas sign and maybe one other place. It'll only be like 3:30 at that point. Anyone got another suggestion for me keeping in mind were only wanting to be on the bus for an hour and a half?

  • We did the Vegas sign, then Bellagio and Paris, then Venetian, then downtown.  It took a full three hours, and it was just the two of us.  It was on a Saturday night, so there was a lot of traffic.
  • Where and what is the Hangover carpark?

  • Thanks everyone!  @vegasgroom, I suspected that it would take awhile to get 30 people on and off a bus for photos!

This will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving,  even though the week of Thanksgiving is very slow in Vegas, any Saturday night will have traffic, I'm just hoping it's not too bad!

I'm still trying to decide on a photographer!   So many choices and styles.  But once I pick one I'll definitely get their input too.

Maybe we'll do Fremont St, the Vegas sign and then end at Bellagio so we can get photos of the fountains and Paris across the street and then we can walk over to Cosmo for some photos too and everyone can go back to their hotels from there.

Thanks for all the input!  Looking forward to letting you all know how it turned out in a little over 100 days!
