A tip on programs

Someone gave me the suggestion of using Etsy to download a wedding program template, and it was such a good idea that I thought I'd share it with you all. I'm not a vendor - I'm just really excited that I finally found an easy way to make programs. You buy the template, fill in your info, and then print it on regular card stock paper. I haven't gotten to the printing portion yet, so hopefully that's as easy as the downloading and editing. Here's a pic of the one I got (generic info on it - not my wedding info).

    If you want more customization, there are also some people on Etsy who sell really nice vector art (clip art that can be resized without losing its clarity) which you could use with PhotoShop or InDesign to make your own stuff match all the way from your Save The Date cards to your menus.  It's very "in" stuff for wedding design, too...from They charge about $6 a set for several pieces of matching vector art.

    I couldn't find an Etsy template I liked and didn't want to pay to then also have the matching programs, menus, etc. designed, so the vector art is the way I'm going to go. :-)

    Love Etsy, we did our save the dates from an Etsy person and printed them from a local mom and pop copy shop that was recommended to us. Couldn't have been more pleased for the quality, and pricing after the file and printing. We are getting our wedding invitations off Etsy as well.

    Oh man I didn't even think of going to Etsy for vector art. I did my programs in InDesign, but they were somewhat plain.
