  I wouldn't bother if you're not assigning seats or tables. No need for them then.

  Now another question... are you assigning seats? Why or why not? I've heard mixed feedback about it... we are only having 20-30 people so not sure how much of a necessity it will be?

  I am, but mainly to avoid drama. There's A LOT of drama in FI's family that I dont' wanna deal with so assigned seating means I can seperate the people who like to push each other's buttons.

  I agree with Britt. My FI's family just loves drama. At my FI's cousin's wedding, his mom got seated somewhat in the back and they still talk about it!!! The wedding was more than 6 or 7 years ago! We were originally going for unassigned, but realized if the family members that complain don't make their way to a close enough table, we would hear it forever! So, assigned seating. But we are also having 100+ guests...

  I'm doing it even with only 20 ppl. It's to avoid drama from his mama. I don't need her pushing me out of the way on our wedding day to sit next Drew.

  We didn't do assigned seating (or table numbers).  We sat with our parents, so we had 1 reserved table.  Everyone else found their own place.  We had about 40 people and no drama llamas so it was easy for us.  Having wedding activities before the wedding helped too, as people got to meet each other before the ceremony and I think that helped too as people were already comfortable conversing with each other

  No table numbers if you are not doing assigned seating. We were also debating on this but just decided to do it to avoid any issues. We are painting the guests names on local stones from the beach with the table number under it. We are having 50 guests.
