  I wouldn't mind it, though I'd much more prefer chocolate!  I will also say that I doubt any folks older than 50 (in my family) would have appreciated this favor.

  While i'd enjoy it, I think it would depend on the age group of  your guests.  If older, they may not like a stick of sugar.
