Ideas for using Tidbits of Old Emails in the wedding?

We met on Eharmony and I saved a lot of the emails from when we were first getting to know eachother :) Some of the snippets are really funny and some are really sweet! I think it would awesome to enlarge some sections of emails and use them in the wedding, but I'm not sure how! Any ideas other than just hanging them on the wall? :)

My husband & I met online, too, so I get it. I just don't see how you're going to do this. I wouldn't incorporate them into the actual wedding ceremony, and hanging them on the wall would look random. Perhaps you could post them on your website?
  • Ditto PP, not sure how this would really fit in to the actual reception.  I do see it being a cute idea to make in a book for your FI, perhaps adding some photos in.
  • I think this is a super cute idea! Is there a way to incorporate little snippets into your centerpieces and table decor? If you are handy with the decoupage you could somehow wrap a large vase with text from an email. Or you could put the snippets in tiny pretty frames and just set them out on a reception table, among your flowers. If you have some sort of photos-through-the-years display of the two of you, you could also print out some of the email snippets on cardstock of photo-size and throw a few in there. You could also put some snippets on the back of your table numbers.
  • I really like the PP's guestbook idea too!
  • These would be unreadable, but totally romantic anyway...
  • Or these! Haha. If you go into pinterest and search for "poetry wedding decor" a lot of good ideas come up. Just swap out the poetry in the examples with the text from your emails!
  • If you and your FI are exchanging wedding gifts, you could make him a book with this and photos.

I'm just not sure guests will 'get it' if you do this at the reception.

  • I'm sorry, but I don't like the idea of displaying them throughout the venue. I also feel like the guests won't "get it".
  • I absolutely love ohanabelle's idea! great place for them and I like more interactive guestbooks like this
  • I like the suggestions for guest book, or make it something private like a scrapbook to give your husband day of. I can't clearly explain why, but this would make me a little uncomfortable as a guest if it was very in your face... Sort of like the rehearsed surprise dances.

  • I know weddings are all about love, but this would probably make me a little uncomfortable. I think reading those sweet nothings is odd.
  • I would feel weird reading what are essentially people's love letters to each other. I'd keep it private.

  • These would be snippets that would be funny/amusing to the guests. Of course I wouldnt be sharing anything that would make someone uncomfortable
  • Can you add them to the table numbers, perhaps?

I realize they are special to you, but I still don't think people will "get it".

I think it's a really good idea to either scrap book these or use these/some photos and make a snapfish photo book to give to him as a wedding present. IMO, that'd be a lot more meaningful.
