  People think way too highly of themselves.   Sure I'm disappointed not to be invited to certain friends/family weddings.  I always assume it's for costs and/or space reasons.     I'm okay with thinking that way.

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

  Sorry if this is a repost. My favorite is the last line, "If you didn't get an invite and are planning on coming, let me or ___ know. AKA: If you chose to ignore etiquette as much as I did- then feel free to come to my wedding.

  The thing that's really confusing me, is that she posted this on FB. So for any of these people that you aren't inviting (the shit-talkers, the non-friends, etc) to read this you'd HAVE TO HAVE THEM AS A FRIEND ON FACEBOOK. Who DOES that?!
