Has anyone actually been successful in selling their wedding dress?

...because I'm having no luck, not even any interest in the one I am trying to sell. ...May end up donating it for the write-off...

By any chance were you able to find any comparable, used sale prices before listing it? I look on this site, Tradesy, OnceWed, etc., every single day looking for the dress I love at a good price so I assume some others are searching with similar intentness (meaning if there's a demand for the brand, I think it will sell if it's priced right). I ran the brand name of the one you listed through those and, although I didn't find the same dress, it seemed like more of them were listed for around $500. I'm not trying to downplay the value of your dress...just saying that maybe people are looking for a deeper discount when it's used, even just once.
