Alternative to Sparklers - HELP!!

Hey Everyone,

I can't use sparklers for my grand exit because they are considered a fire hazard.  Does anyone have another idea that will have the same effect as the sparklers?  I'm going for a dramatic exit! :)  I was thinking of using faux white feathers, and possible mixing that with small white paper airplanes ("love is in the air!"). 

Also, has anyone ever seen a wedding exit that used those fiber optic lights?  Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.  Thought it might work as an alternative to sparklers, but I'm not sure how they would look.  Let me know your thoughts!!!

    I think the fiber optic lights would be a perfect substitute - they're what I immediate thought of.  I think they would be best at night though.  If your grand exit is in the afternoon I don't think these would have the same effect.  You could also try just the typical glow sticks.  If you got tons of them, I think they would really light up the area and have a neat effect as well.

    I have also thought about this. Ive come so close to ordering them but nervous to see what it will look like. Did you use them for your wedding?
