Splurge for suite???

Hey! We're getting married at Aria next April, and we're staying an extended amount of time... about 8-9 nights.  My fiance is pushing to upgrade to a suite in Aria, while I was thinking the regular rooms are nice enough.  But, then I got to thinking that with getting ready for the wedding, the photographer, etc... the suite might be worth the money.  As an Aria bride, we get a discount on the suites... did anyone splurge on a suite and love it or didn't splurge and regret it?  Thoughts???

Thanks! :)

  • Not married yet, but were splurging on a suite at aria. Booked a corner suite. Originally we booked the hospitality but decided we didn't need that. Also, look into vdara, their sister property next door. Their suites are bigger, cheaper and have more amenities. They are non smoking, non gaming though. Another plus for vdara is that they are also next door to Cosmo and connected to bellagio. If I was staying 8 nights id book vdara because they have kitchens.

  • We booked the 1 bedroom panoramic sky suite for 3 nights, then we have a regular room for the rest of the week.  We are hoping we can get that upgraded though.

  • splurge for the PH suite for a few nights, get a regular room for the rest of it.
  • We booked the Executive Hospitality Suite for two nights and two nights in a regular room! I love the idea of space for the night prior to and of the wedding.
  • I think having a suite the day before and day of the wedding (and next day, so we don't have to switch rooms hungover!) is worth the cost!
  • Do it!  We did a tower suite at the Mirage and ended up getting upgraded to a penthouse at checkin...we were there for 7 nights.  It was so nice to have the extra room and also be able to entertain our guests in there as well.
We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

  • Does anyone know any good suites in Caesar's (that won't cost an arm and leg) or Flamingo?

  • Thanks everyone.  I think we're going to get the corner suite at Aria for the entire stay.  It'll be so nice to have the extra space.  I'm super excited! :)

  • If you tell them you are there for your wedding when you check in, they may be able to upgrade you further if anything is available.
