Seal N Send Invites

I ordered invitation samples from 3 different companies. I like the idea of the seal n sends mainly because of cost. I'm worried, though, about the direction cards falling out (our ceremony and reception are in different places) since there's no actual envelope. Has anyone used them? Do you think they're worth it?

Please rethink this option only because there are far better options!! Etsy, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc with some sort of DIY....every one of these ladies can give you far better options than those even if you are on a budget. The las thing you want to do is to spend money on invitations with no envelope, have things fall out of them when they go through the mail, they get to your guests and stuff is missing then your guests have to go hunting for information.

Not to be too personal and you don't have to answer but how much are these seal n send invitations that you are looking at?

My save the dates pdf file that I got off of Etsy cost $15 dollars and came with multiple changes if I wanted/needed. I uploaded the pdf file to a local mom and pop copy shop and they printed 70 5x7 save the dates for me on 100 lb paper, cut it, and it only cost $20-$25 dollars. I bought 50 envelopes from Hobby lobby that were originally $6.99 but had a 40% off coupon so they came down to roughly $4 and change, then the next week they were 50% off from $6.99. All in all, my save the dates only cost me at most 50 or so dollars.

We are also getting our invitations from Etsy as well. They have a variety of invitations for all different price points, and most "stores/owners" are willing to customize and work with you to add and delete things, and if you don't see something they can always make it. The invitations I am looking at on Etsy range in prices from $15 and upwards to $65

That's what I was worried about. I would be very embarrassed if my guests contacted me bc asking why there weren't directions to the church or reception. Thank you for recommending other options. I will be checking them out. :-)

Directions are not necessary in an invitation.  Daughter posted hers on her website, and handed out copies after the church ceremony to the reception.

I loved my seal and send invitations and got tons of compliments on them from guests. I would not, however, use them if you have any inserts. . . . . that seems problematic. Also, mail your samples to a friend or family member to make sure that they are of a quality that will withstand mailing. Not all seal and sends are created equal!

I also used seal and sends and thought they were awesome.  Many guests commented that they liked how simple they were (read: did not have 870193864 inserts).  I listed the address for the ceremony and the address for the reception on the invitation (detailed driving directions on the website).

Also, my invited came with 3 seals per invite so there was no way anything would have fallen out even if we did have inserts...maybe check that this is the case with yours because I did not get any of the seals for the sample invites!

I ordered samples too and they didn't come with the seals either. What website did you use for your invitations?
