Sooooo excited!!!

So, we're having a Latin Mass for our wedding, but at least half of the guests won't be familiar with it. I've been so torn over what to do for programs--spend a lot of time and effort making up a program that doesn't really cover everything, or shell out $400+ for the official white Nuptial Mass Missal books that would be so much more helpful. Then today, an acquaintance of ours who I've only met a few times sent me a facebook message to see if I wanted the 125 white Nuptial Mass books from her wedding!! And she got them free from a friend so she's giving them to me for free! Hooray!!! I'm so relieved! Ok, not so exciting for all of you but thanks for letting me share ;)

That's great! I had to sing in a Latin Mass wedding once (when I had never previously attended one) and I would have been soooo lost without the book.

Our church has the red non-nuptial-Mass ones, but we're getting married at my parents' church back in my hometown and they don't do a Latin Mass so they don't have anything. I think after we use them and FI's sister uses them at her wedding 3 weeks later, we'll give them to our church here in Pittsburgh.

I actually don't know of any church in Toledo that does a Latin Mass. There are two churches that do Mass in Polish, but I can't think of one in the area that has a Latin Mass. Glad you were able to find some :)

Actually, St. Joseph's downtown does. Its a small parish so probably not widely known. http://www.stjosephstoledo.com/ Beautiful church, FIs family went there waaaay back when they lived in Toledo, and it would have been our second choice if St. Patrick's hadn't worked out. Anyway... probably not that interesting to you since you live in Colorado now lol
