I just really need to say something here.

A few of our members are going through some tough shit right now that we all know because they shared with us. Others are probably going through even more shit but aren't sharing because they can't/don't want to.

Look at the positive support that we have given and continue to give each other. It gives me the feels.

It's too bad the special snowflakes don't realize or see this when they post how mean we are.

I was thinking this, too! But I didn't want to post it because I didn't want to sound all "We brides have to stick together! Yay women!" like the snowflakes usually do on the way out the door. But it is true. The overwhelming support for the people who are going thru some shit right now is really touching my heart.

I love the ladies in this community. I know my panic moment yesterday is small and silly compared to what some of the other members are going through, yet everyone was encouraging and supportive.

I think TK is one of the best communities I have ever been apart of IRL or online. Everyone is so supportive and even though I may not agree with 100% of post 100% of the time does not mean that I don't think everyone is amazing. I am so glad that I joined and look forward to sticking around after I am an OMH.

We ain't always conveying the message in the nicest way, but you bet your ass we mean well and are trying to do right by the SS's and help them do right by others.

You ladies are the BEST. I feel so invested in the struggles that have been shared on here and I often find myself thinking about a lot of you throughout my day with positive thoughts for what you're going through.

And all of you have been so supportive as I go through my own little struggles with getting off my feet after law school, and my teeth (damn teeth), and my PTSD diagnosis and oh yeah, wedding planning! It really, really helps to have other people point out that I have options and just act as a sounding board.

And @slothiegal I just can't even handle that sloth group hug. Cutest thing ever.

This group on TK is like the friend who keeps it real and will kick your butt when you do something that you shouldn't. S/he'll support you when you are struggling, cheer you up when you are down, but will tell when you've tucked your dress into your pantyhose so others don't laugh at you behind your back.

I'm about to get super sappy on you people.

IRL, I was bullied a lot in school and whatever, and had literally no friends. No one wanted to talk to me because I was the fat kid that would eat them (no shit, someone actually said that. I'm fat, not a cannibal, jeeze.) So it's really nice to be in a place where even though I say some stupid shit and definitely had an SS post or two, ya'll are still amazing and I feel like I actually belong somewhere.

Okay, done with the sap. We should have a drink.

@loveislouder Latrice Royale has the best response for anyone who might make derogatory comments about your (or anyone's) weight:

"I may be fat bitch, but'cha ugly and I can lose weight."

They might not be ugly on the outside, but it takes a real ugly mentality to give anybody shit about their weight. Get out your damn umbrella and fly above some haters. We love you!

Also, many of us have done some SS shit here and we learn from it. TK presence is a learning experience lol

I love this place too.

I love that we can share the things that are bothering us and ask for advice, knowing that these are people who are genuinely interested and invested. It's this beautiful combination of community and separation from real life-- we can talk without worrying about families and friends hearing about it!

It is wonderful having a place where we can talk through issues without consequences.

Also, I love all of the GIFs, recipes, advice and snark!
