  If you buy used you get the original but make sure the condition is good and don't forget to allow for alterations which most likely will be needed. If you buy new, I agree that Alfred Angelo looks a good bet.

  I would be fine with buying used. I've started looking around on used sites, but the dress I posted about above is from a recent collection, so there's nothing in that style for sale yet.

  Thank you so much @doeydo! I've got an appointment at a store next week that has quite a few of these lines in stock. Now I know what to ask them to pull for me. And going to $1049 isn't bad, I just want to leave money for alterations and pretty accessories.
