I just got my gold badge today! I am pretty happy.
Let's have another survey to liven things up.
Favorite church Hymn? Bonus points if you link.
Favorite season and why?
Tell me something you never want to do in your lifetime?
If you are married why do you hang around on TK? If you aren't married yet, does TK help you with wedding/etiquette ideas?
And feel free to add a question!

Re: Showing Off my New Badge and a Survey
Welcome TXKristan! Haha it's nice to see some cross lurking. I lurk on the Catholic board!
Favorite church Hymn? Bonus points if you link.
Right now it's Do not Lament Me O Mother. We sing this on Saturday night right before Sunday (Easter). It's so mournful; the church is dark and holy. It gives me shivers especially when we get to the “For I SHALL arise” part.

Another one is The Angel Cried. It is sung on Easter day. I love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdiYTBE0L-A
Favorite season and why?
Fall. I love everything about fall.
Tell me something you never want to do in your lifetime?
Sky diving.
If you are married why do you hang around on TK? If you aren't married yet, does TK help you with wedding/etiquette ideas?
I hang out because I like to read and talk to the ladies on here. They are cool.
EDIT: I forgot Kristan's question:
If you could ask God one question, what would you ask?
HMMM that is a tough one. What is Heaven like? Though I just finished Dante's Paradise so that is influencing me.

Favorite church Hymn? "Amazing"... they play it on Klov all the time, but I'm at work and I can't access the radio websites.
Favorite season and why? Summer. I love the heat, the attitudes, water fights...
Tell me something you never want to do in your lifetime? touch a slug.
If you are married why do you hang around on TK? If you aren't married yet, does TK help you with wedding/etiquette ideas? It does encourage me to know my mother isn't the only crazy one, and that as long as the food is good, then no one else cares.
Edit to remove extra question...

[QUOTE]Nope. Never. I was the only one in 6th grade science camp who refused to join the "Banana Slug Club" by putting one on your nose (it's a nor-cal thing), and to this day I will not. EVER. I think that they are vile, disgusting creatures. I get the heebie jeebies just thinking about them. look at this picture and tell me you don't agree!

IFavorite church Hymn? Bonus points if you link.
We don't really do Hymn's at church...we do "worship" instead which is our Worship team performing modern Christian music. One of my favorites is Cornerstone by Hillsong.
Favorite season and why? I love Fall because of the colors, but love warm Summer weather too!
Tell me something you never want to do in your lifetime? Hmm...I don't really know! I guess see a tornado in person because they FREAK me out.
If you are married why do you hang around on TK? If you aren't married yet, does TK help you with wedding/etiquette ideas? TK has been TREMENDOUS help with wedding planning, especially in the etiquette area!
[QUOTE]I Or are you a salter? EDIT: Check out this slug I found in Germany.

<div>UGH... Gross!!! And even grosser at the thought of stepping on one...ew<a href="http://www.." rel="nofollow">www..</a> heebie jeebies all over again. </div><div>
</div><div>I am most definately a salter. My mom shares in my hatred for those nasty things, and used to have "snail/slug parties" in the backyard. You poor a little beer in a pie pan, and they flock to it, drink and die. We'd place bets on how many she'd catch in overnight. </div><div>
</div><div>Probably attracts even more, but, it made her feel like she was keeping the boogers away. </div>

[QUOTE]Lyndsay- Ha! I love that you have parties! That makes me laugh

I'm telling ya... it's great! works like a charm, too. I think the record was something like 30 slugs/snails in a single pie pan.... <div>
</div><div>The tricky part was always finding someone willing to count them, so we usually waited on my dad to do that job. Cause none of us girls were going to... </div>
Favorite church Hymn? Bonus points if you link.
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v37prm-S5c
I'm Southern Baptist...I love modern worship songs, but hymns are in my blood.
Favorite season and why?
Spring- Beautiful days, newness.
Tell me something you never want to do in your lifetime?
Lose a child. Especially since I found out I was pregnant with Ezra, it's one of my greatest fears.
If you are married why do you hang around on TK? If you aren't married yet, does TK help you with wedding/etiquette ideas?
We've been married for almost two years. I like answering questions, sharing my opinion, and helping other ladies with their wedding plans, just like the married girls who were here when I was engaged.
