Hi everyone! So I made a new facebook group for fellow brides to be! I’d appreciate it if some of you joined!

This group is for all the future brides to be, to come together and talk about wedding plans, get tips & advice from other brides to be, network & socialize. This group is closed which means nobody can see what you post in this group unless they are ALSO in the group! It is private from your newsfeed & your friends.

    Really, I see zero point to this. Unless, of course, you're selling something or want our private information. So which is it? What are ya selling?

    I know... I'm new here, and happy to get started in on all the chit chat! I probably won't need a FB group after belonging here, but I decided to make one anyway :) I have a few other FB groups that I'm an admin for and I enjoy creating them and being a part of them so I decided to make one for brides to be :) No pressure to join, just wanted to announce that I made it!

    Yea, I agree with @lol883.  It sounds like maybe that'd be better as a local thing?  I like the anonymity on here.

    Not selling anything lol... Like I said above, I just like creating and being a part of FB groups, and now that I'm engaged, I decided to make a group for brides to be. Maybe I should make it more of a local thing, that's a good idea.

    Yeah, we are cooler than Facebook. The anonymity is part of what makes TK great.

    Well, the closed part is nice. I know there have been several things I wanted to vent about here but I have not because the people involved might also be here.

    But, I'm an OMH now so I'll just stay here.

    Replace that with "all the time" and I'm with you. People here usually do their best to write complete, properly spelled sentences, which is such a relief to me that I actually sigh with happiness every time I log in here. Logging into Facebook is so fraught--is someone going to tag me in a weird chain-letter thingy? Is my weird cousin going to be ranting with poor grammar about some shit? Will I even see my friends' updates lost in a wall of Upworthy posts and sponsored content? Ugh, no thanks, Facebook.
