I REALLY wanted a bagel this morning. Like REALLY wanted one. But I didn't plan for that today and I know it would throw me off so I resisted. I'm thinking I'll "treat" myself tomorrow and you might be wondering "what's the difference?" but the difference is that I'm sticking to a plan and that's good. 

I did not stick to my plan yesterday but that's because H got a raise and a bonus so we went to dinner to celebrate. We got a bunch of small plates to share so in the end I had 3 wings, 2 Philly cheesesteak spring rolls and my favorite fries on the planet with buffalo blue cheese sauce. I had a lot of calories leftover after lunch so I don't think I went over but if I did it wasn't by too much. Anyway. On to today!

B: English muffin with PB and banana
S: Apple
L: Chicken Chili
S: Dark chocolate pomegranate thingies 
D: Probably chicken chili again, I made it yesterday and broke it down into 6 servings since we didn't have it for dinner

W: ALL the water (aka 3 liters)

    L- Grilled Chicken tacos and pita chips and hummus

    D- More grilled chicken tacos most likely

    My food is boring

    B:  Starbucks tall whole milk cappuccino, Starbucks protein bistro box (pretty good!) : total, 490 calories, not bad!
    L:  crockpot beer pork carnitas, coconut milk/red beans and rice, roasted green beans, peach
    D:  crockpot beef pork carnitas, tiny baked red potato, salad, fruit

    WO:  JM Yoga Meltdown!!  so excited for a good stretch.
  • B- hot chocolate, yogurt with strawberries

    L-sweet potato soup

    S-two cookies

    D- probabaly a mish mash of stuff tonight, some rice and avacado

    S- wine and some pita chips

    E-abs work out, and Just Dance Workout

    L: turkey and spinach sandwich, mini baby bell cheese, seaweed salad

    D: Probably a hotdog from Costco lol

    E: Not sure if we'll work out tonight...

  • Ugh, I caved and had wine yesterday.  I feel bad about it since H and I are trying not to drink during the week and he didn't.  None today, promise.

    B: Egg beaters and tomato

    L: Beef barley soup and veggie salad

    D: Large chicken salad with tons of veggies

    S: Popcorn and maybe a few chips

    E: 30 min tredmill already done this morning.  Hope to get another 30 minutes in tonight.

     

  • B - banana and PB2
    S - Greek yogurt
    L - spinach tortilla with turkey and cheese, baby carrots, applesauce, sugar free Jello (same as always)
    S - granola bar, string cheese (same as always)
    D - not sure yet. I think FI is working late again, but if not I'll make tilapia with rolls and peas. If he is, I'll probably just eat a Smart Ones pizza thing or my Morningstar corn dogs. 

    E - cardio, arms, abs... I planned to work out this morning, but I woke up feeling exhausted. I'll definitely go after work today though.

    I may need to add some food somewhere or eat a second snack. I'm potentially going to end up undereating today... oops.

  • @swazzle I love the chocolate one. It tastes like Reese's, which are one my big weaknesses. I buy it in bulk on Amazon and usually dip fruit in it. I haven't used it in a smoothie yet, but a few of my friends love it for smoothies too. It tastes like real PB and has about 45 calories in it, so I'm sold!

  • @minskat30, I've been trying not to drink during the week either, but I caved and had wine last night AND the night before.  I think I'm going to try to make up for it by not drinking this weekend, but we'll see...it's a "lock myself in the library and work on my dissertation for 10 hours/day" weekend, so who knows how I'll feel when I get home.

    B-homemade bread with peanut butter
    L-2 hardboiled eggs, raw veggies
    S-probably an apple and string cheese, if I'm hungry
    D-Probably tilapia and angel hair pasta

    E--I have a Zumba class to teach, and I'm going to try to squeeze in a short run.
