  She fell into a coma during a medical procedure last week.

  I saw that, but last reported she was recuperating---though still not in the clear. Very sad.

  A got to meet Joan Rivers the year she passed.  She was the featured guest at the benefit for our local Cancer Support Community and A was the keynote speaker for the evening.  She said Joan was very kind and also that she approved of A's outfit.

  She looked damn good for 81.  I mean, I know it wasn't natural, but still, unless I had done the math I would have guessed early 70's.

  it's a little ironic that a (necessary) surgery led to her death when she's had so much cosmetic work done. RIP Joan.
