Hey there! So we're having a 20's wedding and I know belly dancing doesn't really fit that. However, I'm a belly dancer and neither of our families have seen me dance and they constantly ask me to. Would it be weird to perform at my wedding? Back when and where belly dancing started it was normal to perform at weddings but I'm on the fence about it. Thoughts?

    Don't perform at your own wedding. Your guests are coming to see you get married, not dance. Invite them to one of your actual performances instead.
