RSVP's

I sent out 45 invitations to households who are mostly couples/families, meaning our total count would have been around 82, but I have only received 12 RSVP's back.

Should I assume those people are not attending? Confused...

    Hi
    No NEVER ASSUME
I would follow up with them and when you follow up phone/email make it politely clear if they dont reply by X then YOU have ruled them out (politely)

Can you imagine because then you are either under supplying or over paying for guest who are not attending/may show up...personally i think its rude not to respond...give them one last chance and then decide accordingly :)

    Best of luck
  • Yes, they were even pre-stamped and pre-addressed, all they had to do was check yes or no and pop it in the mail! I don't understand people either...

It's almost too late to start asking, but I guess I had better get somewhat of a head count.

    Thanks!

  • Yea I would call them all and just check. It would suck to have way more people than you anticipated.

  • 12 out of 45? When is/was your RSVP deadline? If it's 3-4 days past the deadline (to allow for mail time), I'd start calling.
