Photographer down!!

Well...

Not good. My best friend from the Midwest (I live in California now) who is a professional photographer was supposed to photograph our wedding, but now can't make it.

With our wedding package, we get an hour of photography after the ceremony around the casino, and I have a few friends who are bringing cameras for the after party/reception.

I guess I'll be ok :0/

    Sorry to hear that
    You could
    a) supply guest with digital camera to take pictures of you or use their phones and send them in and then find a place to print them

    or

    Use a company like bently and wilson (they have excellent reviews on the knot/yelp)
    $348 FOR 2 HOURS! 


    My friend hired a photographer and also supplied guest with disposable cameras to table pictures ... there were hilarious some missed heads, some missed all together...some got drunk and tool pictures of legs/buts haha just a thought

    We are on a super tight budget, so I really cannot afford to hire anyone, but we are also supplying the reception with 6-8 disposable cameras.

    I think I'll be fine, just kind of a let down so close to the wedding day.

    Does anyone have a camera/ipad/iphone etc?

    If so and if your comfortable ask someone who is good at taking shots...this is also good because they can know immediately how it came out! (with disposables its kinda pot luck)

    I have asked my friend would she take shots in-between and she was more than happy to do it!

    Then they can send you pictures and then you can print/upload to social website etc

    :)

    Everyone coming has smart phones, I'm sure. Also a good friend of ours is bringing their Canon camera, so I'll have good back ups.


    The disposables are just for fun, candid shots :)

    My wedding photographer was Joey Allen photograpy - his prices are really reasonable and I believe he makes customs packages I know you said you were on a strict budget but he may be worth looking into even if you book for only 2 to 3 hours he may give you a great price.
