Bridezilla sis wedding day has arrived. I was talking to my mom last night and it made me happy because I'm a bad person. They had wicked thunderstorms yesterday so the field they were going to use for parking is all muddy, the outdoor ceremony site is all muddy and squishy ground. The power went out so they couldn't do a bunch of the last minute stuff yesterday. The reception space wasn't cleaned until yesterday so they had fun setting up in the dark. The cooler is broken so all the beer is warm. They got so much rain that it started to seep into the reception site. The rain flooded her basement and they spent most of last night dealing with that. I tried to tell her that all that matters is they get married and she is upset because it won't be the perfect wedding she has dreamed about for years. Besides the basement, everything else just requires a slight change of plans to not be a big deal, but "her day" has been ruined already in her mind.
