There was no AC at the church and it was about 95 degrees outside. Once the church starting filling up with people, it felt like 110 in there. However, they had palm fans placed in all the pews and the groomsmen were giving out bottles of water. Awesome touch!
There was a gap, which ended up being an hour long. We all went to the hotel where they had a block of rooms.
One bar and one bartender for 140 people was definitely not enough. The line to get a drink during cocktail hour was really long.
The food was really, really good. But it was almost impossible to get any of the passed hors d'oeuvres. And our table was served our entrees about 15 minutes after the other table in our area. It unfortunately seemed like the venue was really disorganized.
The DJ and the dance floor were in a separate room. It seemed a little disjointed. When the toasts were given, the speakers were so far away from where we were all sitting, that it was hard to hear.
The MOH's speech went on for a really long time.
But I danced my butt off all night. The photo booth was really fun. And the bride and groom looked so happy and in love.
