This has been a huge story around here this summer.  Very disturbing story about a woman that was kidnapped and held in a cage for 2 months as this deranged couple's sex slave.  She was saved by the ex-husband (boyfriend?) of the female kidnapper.

But the even scarier thing is that there's another woman who went missing around the same time as the lady who was found, who was similar in looks and stature to this woman, and the circumstances were similar and she hasn't been found yet.  :-/

  • Ugh, I hope the other woman is okay, but I can't say I'm confident.  :(
  • that's effing terrifying. I don't think we've heard a reason why the guy who turned them in waited until the 2nd day...unless he was scared (which, totally reasonable)
  • (wait, that version doesn't have the 2 day thing the other story I read did. hmmm)

From some of the stories I've read, the two day thing was a safety issue.  He had a past relationship with the kidnapper woman and the guy threatened him, so I think he was trying to figure out how to get them to give her to him so he could save her.

Sounds like they were (are) completely deranged and unhinged.  I'm sure there had to be some delicacy in handling them in regard to the woman's safety.
  • I'm all for human rights and everything, even for criminals. However, sometimes I wish we had some sort of eye-for-eye justice system.

Fuckers would probably like that, though.

That man who saved her is a hero!

  • yeah, the guy who saved them was her ex--which may be why the cray cray evils thought "oh, he'd LOVE to see her caged"

I'd imagine the people who kidnapped your ex and think it would be awesome to show to you have to be terrifying and handled carefully.  If the cops went in guns blazing it could have been a bloodbath
  • It was the kidnapper's ex, not the victim's
