Fun Limousine Alternatives

My wedding is in November in Colorado Springs. I'm really hoping to find something more unique to rent than a limo or party bus to transport the wedding party and my (new) husband and me from the ceremony location to the reception. I would love to find something like a trolley or street car, but I'm having trouble finding anything like that available for rental online! Any advice?? Thanks!

    Try posting this on your local board.  In our area, some schools will rent out their busses for weddings.

    I think limos are tacky and overplayed. The other thing, if you transport the wedding party to the reception, they'll either have to take their cars there before or have to be transported back after the wedding. How about letting the wedding party transport themselves--they're adults and might want a break from all the wedding hoopla (quiet downtime, yay!)--and get a luxury sedan and driver for you and hubby. A nice, chauffeured Mercedes or other sedan that is classy. Then you two can get some time alone, too, before the reception chaos starts.

    One of the best parts of my wedding was the 30 minutes I had of quiet time between ceremony and reception. The rest was a blur.

    We rented a trolley for the WP and our shuttle. It was a hit and definitely something different. Not sure if it's an option in Colorado Springs. 

    Also check into classic car rental. Some classic car clubs will do this.
