Did you guys see this?

There's some helpful hints that I probably wouldn't have thought of and then...he suggests an unplugged wedding. And has some interesting ideas that probably include traveling to take pictures...which lead to a gap.

But the ultimate suggestion: “A lot of people do the official paperwork a day or two beforehand, which gives them total freedom to get hitched wherever they want.” And later: “You can only get married legally on certain listed locations, so they’d done a registry office thing back home."

He also points out a wedding where the groomsmen did all the work, even food. And apparently that was awesome.

Sigh. The good fight continues.

At least he told the grooms it's their day too.

Because who wants to deal with the hassel of getting married on their wedding day? Oh wait, that's the whole point of having the wedding in the first place!

At this point I'm thinking that any photographer who even suggests an unplugged wedding can be crossed off the potential vendor list. You're a wedding photographer, it's not my job or my guests' job to make your job easier.

  • I think the pool and the crumbling building look like total shit. Not attractive at all.

  • But @bethsmiles

What about the pictures????? They're more important than the wedding itself! (sarcasm)

That's got to be the worst reason for a PPD...pretty pictures.

I know that if there is even one bad picture of me or the groom or any of our guests on my wedding day I'll just have to have a re-do of the whole thing. There's nothing more important about a wedding than fabricating fake moments I can pretend to remember. The actual being bonded to someone for life bit is just a technicality that gets in the way.
