Souvenir Advice!

As we are coming from Australia, I was planning on putting a little souvenir in our welcome bags. Ive found some poker chip Las Vgeas keyrings online for  $1.40 each, and those used Flamingo playing cards for $1.95 (our wedding is at the Flamingo) which I thought would be cool. I was considering ordering online and picking up when we get there... my question is... would I be able to find stuff that cheap at "The Worlds Biggest Souvenir Store" or something similar? Im guessing the stores on the Strip will be more expensive... any ideas?

Re: Souvenir Advice!

  • oh, and Im not after anything fancy... we are doing hangover kits as well, so just wanting to pop something in the bag as a filler. Ive written on the welcome note that its there in case the guest is too drunk, hungover or busy partying to stop to pick up a souvenir!
  • If you'll have a car, there are tons of places off strip to get cheap souvenirs; on strip you'll get hit with the tourist prices.

  • That is an awesome idea...I would probably order online though. Have you looked at the Oriental Trading Company? We use them for events at work and they are pretty neat!

  • Try calling the flamingo to see how much their gaming dice are.  We did dice for some of our favors and some casinos sold 2 for $1, if you gave everyone one die it would be $0.50 each!

We have to go to Walmart to get a HEAP of stuff when we first arrive... would they have souvenirs?

  • yes, what's the names of a few stores off strip that would be good for this sort of thing?
