  • If you're going to do this, you're far better off with something simple rather than cute. Nobody cares if it's cute. If they're using it, they want it to be easy. Pick something simple like cantrellwedding and the date, see if it's been used already on IG or wherever, and don't overthink it.

  • I'd stick with something like #cantrell14 or #cantrell15, depending on your wedding date. Long hashtags are annoying to type and really easy to screw up.
  • Yeah, just go simple.

"I'm not a rude bitch.  I'm ten rude bitches in a large coat."

  • I join the simple vote!

____first name___&____first name___   is another easy idea

(Can always add date, year, married, party to first or last name ideas!)

  • I have veered towards that idea, as well. Something easy like #cantrellwedding. Thanks for the confirmation!
  • Another vote for simple. We went back and forth on what to do for ours as well and since we are both regulary Instagram-ers, we know it can be a pain to type in a long/complicated hashtag. Your guests will surely appreciate something simple! :)

  • I vote simple, also!  But double check Instagram, etc. to see if the hashtag has already been used.  Personally, I don't want to search my hashtag and have other couples' photos pop up on the feed.
  • Meh, I have no problem with a cutesy/clever tag as long as it's not crazy long. I'm terrible about coming up with stuff like that, though. IDoCantrell, CantrellWeddingBells, SwellCantrell...I have no idea, I think these are terrible, but someone who's good at that should totally be able to come up with a cute rhyme or pun.
