Photo suggestions- rain plan

FI and I are trying to come up with our photo time-line. I will be getting ready in Congers, FI in Nanuet at the Comfort Inn.  We are getting married at 6pm in Stony Points and plan to take all photos- our private moment, wedding party portraits and family portraits before the ceremony.  If it is nice, we will take some outdoors at PH, perhaps the horse stable, perhaps some at Congers Lake.

Does anyone have suggestions for a place to take pics if it is raining?  We were thinking indoors at the Comfort Inn in Nanuet for starters (there is a beautiful area just off of the lobby).  Any other ideas in case of rain?

    Sorry, I don't know the area that you're talking about, but have you asked your photographer for suggestions?  Chances are he/she has had a rain plan for other couples, too.

    Ditto pp. Ask your photographer. Also ask Patriot Hills. Depending on how severe the weather gets they might have a canopy somewhere that you could stand under but still get a gorgeous backdrop of the golf course. (I actually took pre-ceremony shots with my family. It started to drizzle, and we continued to stand out side. So yes, my photographer got pictures of me in the rain. I was standing getting wet, but the rain isn't noticeable in those pictures. However, once it started to steadily come down, we took cover.)

    It will all be ok. and you will have a beautiful wedding day!

    Thanks, ladies!

    My photographer hasn't shot at PH yet (We did take a ride to visit so he was able to get some ideas for the wedding day), so I'm not sure how helpful he will be with finding a rain location in Rockland.  I will definitely ask Gina at PH for some suggestions.
