1.  Where has Kuus been?  I'm missing some Kuus. 

2. My IL's want to keep the kids Saturday night.  What is a good date night to you? I need ideas. 

3. Midwest peeps: Do you think summer is over and no more 80's...or do you think we're going to get one or two more summer-like days?

    2.  I love a dinner out alone at a place that isn't super family-friendly.  When I want to escape my kids, I don't necessarily want to eat next to yours, ykwim?  Sometimes we just drive around after dinner and just talk and talk.

    3.  I think that we'll have at least one more day where it's effing hot.  After I put all the summer clothes away.  Just to piss me off.

    2.  We usually use that time to have dinner someplace nice that we wouldn't take the kids to, but there's also the "adult superstore."  YMMV.

    3.  As a former Midwest peep, I'm raising my hand and saying "Pick me, pick me!"  Answer:  almost certainly a few more 80+ days ahead before fall settles in for real.

    I'm hoping it doesn't get too cold.  We're very limited on supplies and tearing through storage to find our shit does not sound like fun.  And I don't want to spend $$. I'm glad I kept two long sleeve thermal shirts out.  I think the only closed toe shoes I current have are sneakers.

    1.  She has disappeared, hasn't she.  Let's make a Kuus signal:

    2.  We're trying to break the habit of food and alcohol being reward/relaxers.  Is there an activity like a hike or a park that you guys like to do and really can't w/the kids in tow?  A movie you want to see?  A play?

    3.  It's in the 60s here right now.  I'm hoping for an Indian summer, but I think the 90s are finished.

    2.  H and I usually do the wander around---errands together and then dinner.  Sushi or Pizza.  We don't do much else.  Sometimes a movie, with some air hockey.  That's fun.

    3.  Not sure---I kind of hope those days are over.  I reallyreallyreallyreally love fall.  Like really.

    2.  we try to do movies when we have time alone.  We can go out to dinner with DD, but we can't see many movies.  Or we just stay home and binge watch TV shows on Netflix that we can't watch with DD around.

    If the kids weren't home I'd order takeout, watch movies and have sex outside the bedroom. Then go to bed at like 8 pm and sleep as much as possible. I wouldn't bother going out but that's because I'm lazy.

    There's a new sandwich place I want to try.  And we have cleaning and packing we could do.  

    So, the thought of staying home with sandwiches, beers, redbox, and trying to get some actual headway on stuff has crossed my mind.  It would be so cheap too. :)

    1) I didn't get a chance to see her when we were in PGH last month - new employee orientation. :-( She may be busy with work and the new grad students coming in. 

    2) we try to mix it up depending on how long we have - if we have the babysitter in our house, we'll go out for a nicer dinner and/or an event (concert/comedy show/party/etc.) that's geared towards adults. 
    if we leave her at gymnastics for the parents' night out, we're usually more limited on time (4 hours) - so will usually have more casual dinner and go to a movie/D&B/mini-golf/go karts/etc. None of the family lives close enough to take her overnight, so we literally have not had one full night without her since she was released from the NICU, almost 4 years ago. We're planning to remedy that in 2015 and take a 10+night trip to Europe while my parents watch Wolverine and house/dog-sit. 

    3) N/A - it's still 80*+ at 8am here, and in the mid-90s every day. I would love some 47* weather.

    2) We just have loud, inappropriate sex. Are we dating wrong? 

    3) We're supposedly getting snow tonight. SNOW. But here in CO, that doesn't mean shit, so I'm sure there will be plenty of 80* days still. 90s are probably behind us till next July. Thank goodness.
