I got up at 1:45 this morning to order my new phone (the lock button on my 5 works maybe 30% of the time so to avoid becoming homicidal, I need a new one ASAP). What a cluster...the Apple Store on my phone had no availability, on my browser it kept saying they were down...finally I got through on AT&T, and it was SO SLOW....I got a confirmation page and they said they would email me the details...well at 6:15 when I got up for real - no email, and the AT&T page still showed I had an upgrade available...so I ordered again. Then the email for the FIRST order came through 5 mins later....followed by the email for the second one - UGH. Luckily it was easy to cancel that duplicate order.
AT&T is so unorganized...I'm going on FI's family plan (my contract expires Sunday), and they told him yesterday that I should order my new phone and lock in a new 2-year, then they can transfer my account over to his. I have my doubts about that, but worse case scenario is I continue paying for my phone as usual. Hopefully the AT&T person wasn't full of it, it would be nice to consolidate some stuff, plus I'll get more data on his plan than I do mine.
