  You may try taking some oregano oil capsules. They can help to speed up your recovery.
  
  My mom's doctor recommended this after she got pneumonia (lungs were already severely damaged from a car accident). Doctors had predicted that with the pneumonia and wreck she would only have 60% of her lung function, but between the antibiotics and the oregano oil capsules she ended up making a full recovery.
  
  Might help you kick the cold a bit faster. :-) Hopefully you are feeling much better by the time you walk down the aisle!

  I am so sorry!  I have had pneumonia twice.  It really makes you feel weak and dizzy.  You will have enough time for the antibiotics to work and clear up the problem, but you won't be ready to run any marathons for a long time.  Get lots of rest.  Thought and prayers.

  lol, thanks ladies...it probably didn't help that I got sent home from work and then proceeded to lay sod in the backyard for 6 hrs with FI - in the rain. I'm home again today and they want me to stay home the rest of the week but I'd like to be back as of tomorrow.

  My FI has had this intense cough for about a month and refuses to go to the doctor. I'm pretty sure he's got something that is going untreated. Can't wait for those vows to be nothing but coughing. :-|

  My step-dad had pneumonia for his wedding to my mom and was on the heavy duty antibiotics. She spent time the week before they got married trying to find non-alcoholic wine for their toast because someone told her it was bad luck to toast with water and there had already been bad weather that had caused them to change their wedding plans fairly significantly.
