So, we have around 17 months to go, and this is pretty much a dead board. So I thought I would do a GTKY.

1. What state (or country if you are outside to US) are you in?

2. What is your job/career (other than wedding planner extraordinaire)?

3. How long had you been with your FI before you got engaged?

4. When and where are you getting married?

1. I live in Hamburg, Germany. I grew up in Düsseldorf, but I was actually born in Washington DC and lived there until I was 5, but I've never been back since.
2. I'm a part time research physicist. I work with lazers a lot, it's great fun.

3. FI and I have been together since I was 17, so just over 10 years.
4. We're getting married on the 11th of December, in Bavaria, Germany.
5. I'm 27, FI is 31.

3) We've been together 3 years and he will be proposing very soon. We already bought the ring but its been on layaway and he's been waiting to officially "propose" until we have it sometime in the next couple of weeks. :-)

4. We finalized our date to December 19th, 2015. Our ceremony will be held at a church (still in the process of finalizing all those details!) And our reception will be held at the local fire house.
