Aria Brides - Your Aisle?

I'm trying to figure out what to do for the aisle. I wanted to do one of those full 'carpet' of petals (DIY with silk ones), but now I'm thinking I'll just do it lining the sides. I think.

I'd just like to see what people are planning!

Re: Aria Brides - Your Aisle?

  • Is there a fee for DIY option? I'll either have nothing at all or the option with candles from their brochure, not sure because it's like $475 :(

  • I met with the coordinator, and she told me you can do things other than what is in the brochure... and it'll cost less. Just let her know what you like, and she'll tell you a cost.

  • What Dixe said. And my coordinator knows about my DIY stuff and hasn't said anything. The only thing is if I want to rent vases or candles it's a flat $150 fee (I think we'd still have to set it up).
  • I am doing nothing because I feel like they are nickel and dining lately. I

  • Agree on the nickel and dime attitude of many of the properties.  But with Aria, the base price is so expensive, there should not be room for much of that type of nonsense.  The space is absolutely gorgeous as it is!

  • So had petals for the aisle and honestly it's not worth the money, you don't even notice ....they changed the color of the curtains on us so it didn't even match, I wish I would have skipped it. If you do do something have someone make sure it's all right befoe the wedding starts, my coordinator added the frameless candles for us in the paperwork but never put them out...

  • Ugh i would be soooo frustrated! Who was your coordinator?
  • @thesepinkdays do you mind saying what you paid for your aisle? Did you pick it off their brochure?

Umm you would think that @Ndelible‌ but they wanted to charge me for the glasses to have mimosas in the bridal suite. I'm not talking about keepsake flutes....just flutes to share a drink with my maids prior to the wedding. I'm not asking for free champagne now....but I'd like to not have to pay for the glasses it is served in. Especially considering aria probably has a glassware inventory around 10000 pieces. Lol!

  • I think I'm going with one of their aisle packages and adding silk hydrangeas to add more to it. I really want something on the altar to break up the stage space (it will just be my FI, the pastor, and I) but I'm having a hard time coordinating what I want and how to do it without breaking the bank.

Are you kidding me?  you brought in your own bubbly and they wanted to charge you for the glass?  That is not exactly the signal you want to send a bride who just dropped a few grand on a space...
