looking for a new caterer

reception is between Brighton-Howell area and I need a new caterer.Any suggestions?

    For the best prices and most negotiating room, look into gourmet stores that cater. Most will also travel. Because they don't make all their profits on just catering, and have fabulous foods to sell to the store customer's, we found these were excellent options.

    We checked out Joe's Produce in Livonia, and Holiday Markets in Royal Oak. Both were comparable in price and the food from both was delicious at the tastings. We went with Holiday only because of our comfort level with what we wanted, but either would have been fine.  

    Also, while they may have menus online, I found setting appointments and going in and telling them our budget, and what we wanted, was much easier. They can work with your budget better and make suggestions.

    I have heard really good things about Angel Food Catering, but havent personally used them myself.

    I would try A Catered Affair. I think they travel to the area you need.

    I don't know if they travel that far.But Robin's Nest in Eaton Rapids was catering and the food was delicious. My venue provides the caterer so I am not using them but I was in a wedding they catered and I know the prices were very low compared to all the others.

    Angel Food Catering in Ypsilanti are excellent! Highly recommend working with them--Mike and Judy Maynard.
