Flowers in hair for fall wedding?

Originally I wanted a glitzy hair comb, but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I love the idea of using fresh flowers, instead, but I feel like it's a bit beachy for a late October wedding. Thoughts?

    I think a bride in the fall can wear flowers in her hair, even in the fall.  Below are a couple pictures of some:

    I don't think it'd look weird at all! Personally, I'd probably do silk over fresh because they won't wilt and they're more durable. You're only getting a couple, so it won't be too expensive to get high-quality ones from your florist. 

    I think roses, calla lilies, orchids, lily of the valley, etc. would look good if you want white/ivory. If you decide not to do white/ivory (which would look perfectly fine in the fall, btw), you could do something like the pics below:

    I think flowers in the hair is appropriate for any time of year! I particularly like the idea of yellow, orange, or red flowers as pictured. 

    Any suggestions on where you purchase silk flowers for wearing in the hair? I've thought about doing so for my wedding as well.

    @ClimbingBrideNY, I was thinking something white, possibly orchids or hydrangeas.

    ETA: I temporarily developed an internet twang and tagged you "Climbin' Bride NY." Whoops! Oh, and now I'm also considering jasmine.

    I considered wearing flowers in my hair. Ultimately went with a silver headband instead, but I remember coming across clay flower hair ornaments on Etsy. Like these: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PetalByPetal

    Very realistic and beautiful, plus they'll last forever.

    Do it! FI and I just went to a wedding yesterday and the bride had flowers in her hair. Absolutely beautiful and totally appropriate for the season.
