Bachannal - just in case anybody was wondering

Is not taking large reservations for the week of Christmas.  I would assume they have the same policy for other big holidays like Thanksgiving week.  

I guess that helps us eliminate that for our after ceremony dinner.  It is very difficult to plan these things when you only have a guess as to how many people will show up.

    Interesting.  Have you tried Wicked Spoon?  Our wedding is the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the Wicked spoon is taking group reservations even for Thanksgiving Day.

     We ended up with so many people flying in on Thanksgiving that I've had to arrange a group dinner for that too ( Luckily another relative is paying).  They are charging the "holiday premium" price but I am happy to have a reserved space for the group.

    We got a quote for Wicked Spoon and they didn't say anything about the date, but I gave the date to the Ceasar's lady a month or so ago and wasn't told no until yesterday.  We will likely go with Wicked Spoon, but we don't have a good grasp on the number of people coming yet, so I don't think I can make a reservation just yet. 

    Just out of curiosity, how many people is your reservation for?

    Reservation is for 22 but the final count is due 5 days prior, although all of these people have already bought plane tickets so I don't think there will be many changes.  The other 12 guests arrive the next day. So it's going to be a 3 day celebration!

    Well it's reassuring to know that they can accommodate a reservation of that size.  So far we have 11 for sure, but we know there will be more.  Our rsvp's aren't due yet, so hopefully they will start streaming in.  

    Did you get one of the beverage packages?  We were thinking about doing the wine package and maybe adding beer if we can.
