My phone broke

My phone died. The screen had cracked and the top of the screen had fallen off but it fell off my bed and it shorted the screen out so it no longer works. I'd say the worst part is that I can't afford to replace it. UGH

Re: My phone broke

  • Oh bummer! Do you have insurance on it? An old one laying around? Can you pick up a cheapie temporarily? I couldn't live without a phone of some sort.
  • That is why I an outterbox.    Bulky?  Yes, but so worth it since I'm clumsy.

Do you have an old one?   Maybe a family member has an old one you can use?

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • I have insurance on it but there's still a fee of $150 that I just can't swing right now. FI has an old one I can use for awhile but he's at work so I'll be without a phone until tomorrow. At least I don't need to go anywhere.

I got a cygnett workforce case when I got my iphone 5. It was $40.

I left my phone in the case on the hood of my car by accident, and then proceeded to drive home from FMIL's house. It's a 55mph road, and the phone flew off about halfway down it.

FI found the phone in someone's eta: GRAVEL driveway. There's a scuff on the case, and that's it.

    Worth every penny.

  • Ugh! I shattered my screen a few days ago on my 4s and broke a 5s a few months ago. Why are these phones so breakable?

  • Well at least some good news, FI's parents said they would pay for a mini honeymoon for us while he's back for Christmas. I'm excited. And I'll use FI's old phone at least until we can pay for a new one
