We went to the ENT today. Per usual he wouldn't talk, but he did utter a few responses. He let the doc do what he needed in the prelim. Then we went into the procedure room. They sprayed numbing stuff up his nose and he never batted an eye. They kept asking if he was tasting anything funny and he kept saying no. They just assumed the stuff worked so they started. He sat on my lap and barely moved through the whole 5 mins. He made the sounds they asked and only a couple times he clenched so I know it had to bug him.
He thought it was pretty cool to see where his adenoids should have been and where the food goes down. He also thought it was really awesome to see his vocal chords moving.
Verdict is reflux and they are prescribing something new. He gets off all the asthma and allergy meds (4 total) and this should solve the problem.
